How To Update Infomation On AAdhar

Online Update

1. Visit the UIDAI Website: Go to the official UIDAI website here

2. Login: Click on "Update Demographics Data and Check Status" under the "My Aadhaar" tab. Enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha code, then click on "Send OTP." Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number to log in.

3. Update Information: Select the information you want to update (e.g., address, name, date of birth). Follow the instructions and provide the necessary documents.

4. Submit Request: After updating the information, submit the request. You will be directed to a payment portal where you need to pay a fee of Rs 50 for updating the address.

5. Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation message once the update is successful.

Update at Enrollment/Update Center (Offline Update)

1. Locate a Center: Find the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Center here

2. Visit the Center: Go to the center with the necessary documents (e.g., proof of identity, proof of address).

3. Fill the Form: Fill out the Aadhaar Update Form with the required details.

4. Submit Documents: Submit the form along with the supporting documents.

5. Biometric Verification: Your biometric data (fingerprints, iris scan) may be verified during the update process.

6. Receive Acknowledgment: You will receive an acknowledgment slip with a URN (Update Request Number) to track the status of your update.
